While I have taking a hiatus from the Celebrate 365 blog party and blogging in general Val from Corn, Beans, Pigs and Kids, and Jan from Tip Garden have added a couple of amazing new hostesses Cooking with Carlee and Ellen from Family Around the Table.
Their last party was a great roundup of soup recipes.
The Sausage and Potato Cheddar Ale Soup sounds amazing as well as Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup.
My youngest son is always excited for a Loaded Baked Potato Soup and this Crockpot version has been added to the must try list.
Now on to this month's party All About Chocolate! I may gain a few pounds just reading through these and you might find the perfect recipe for Valentine's Day for your sweetie.

W4DW-Jodi's Amazing Brownies
What's for Dinner this Wednesday? Well, May is Beef Month and now you are looking at the picture below wondering what on earth Chocolate and Marshmallows has to do with Beef Month. To find the answer read my son's post from last year here.
I have some amazing friends that help me out from time to time on my blog. They let me know when I have typos, when links don't work and things just don't look correct. One of most faithful blog assistants is Jodi. She quickly calls if something isn't right and hasn't even commented on Facebook to fix the needed caption if I am in a meeting. LOVE her! Thank you for being there from almost the beginning of this blog journey!!
She shared her family's recipe for Taco Soup this winter and with the cold weather coming in tonight it might be really good tomorrow with these brownies that she shared with me this week. Love this recipe. They are delicious and actually pretty easy to make.

Jodi's Amazing Brownies
1/2 c butter1/2 c oil
1 c water
2 c sugar
2 c flour
1/4 c cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c milk
Heat butter, oil and water until the butter melts. Add sugar, flour, cocoa and eggs and stir well. Then add baking soda and milk, mix well. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan (or a cookie sheet with sides).
Bake at 350 for about 18 min. They are done when toothpick comes out clean or they spring back.
Quickly cover with a bag of miniature marshmallows. Put back in oven. Watch them carefully. When marshmallows puff up take them out of oven. Let them cool.
Then frost.
Frosting
2 tablespoons cocoa2 c powdered sugar
1/4 c melted butter
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix ingredients together. Spread carefully over marshmallows and brownies.
Thanks so much for sharing Jodi!
