November Blog Party

We are back for a new month of linkups in the Country Fair Blog Party.  I can't wait to sit down and read all of them.  Yes, I said sit down.  I can see the light at the end of the harvest tunnel and most of the cattle are where they need to be for the winter!  I have been using most of my spare time to help prepare a team to go to the National 4-H Livestock Skillathon Competition in Louisville, Kentucky in a few weeks.  These kids have amazed me at their dedication to study while taking classes and to do research on their own.  This is a great group of kids that will do great things in life no matter how they do at the competition.

The October Blog Party was full of great ideas and it was hard to find my favorites, but I had to like this post by Kimmi's Dairyland just because I was trying to find a way to explain silage to the team I am coaching.

The Balsamic Rosemary Braised Pork Butt from Cooking with Carlee looked way to good to not share again with you!

I am always looking for unique gift ideas that are useful.  I am firm believer that we all have way too much "stuff" any gift that is useful or edible is tops on my list!  I love the idea of this Emergency Preparedness Gift Basket found on the Little Blog On the Homestead.
DIY Emergency Preparedness Gift Basket. You can give the gift of emergency preparedness with this DIY gift basket! A perfect present that combines technology, practicality, and preparedness. #BringingInnovation #CBIAS #Ad #EmergencyPreparedness
Early in October I did a book review over I Have Dyslexia

By commenting on the blog or Facebook, readers had a chance to win their own copy.  The winner is Jane Smith!!

Kelly who writes the blog Old Blue Silo and does some graphic design work is one such person.  She designed some super buttons for the blog party that you can "grab."  Please add this button to your side bar or your post, so every one know you are linking up to our party.
