East Leftovers Makeover Linkup Party

I hope all of you enjoyed a blessed and relaxed Easter holiday with your family.  Jan from Tip Garden and Val of Corn, Beans, Pigs and Kids thought it would be fun to see what all of you do with your Easter leftovers.  I know I am particuraly interested in what you do with leftover lamb.  I am cooking Dr. Lindsay's leg of lamb in the crock-pot tomorrow and I am sure there will be a few leftovers.

Let's see what you have to make that ham, lamb, roast beef, mashed potatoes or even fruit trays to make them tasty a second time around!

August 2016 Country Fair Blog Party

Well, it finally happened.  I am about 4 days late posting this blog party this month.  We barely survived the County Fair with a sick husband who didn't come to the fair for at least 36 hours, came just before the shows and left early most nights...yes, he was really sick, but the boys and I took care of everything and survived the heat ourselves.  The boys managed to bring home some champion ribbons, showed a tremendous growth in maturity and exhibited all they have learned over the years in 4-H.  Last month, Lisa talked about the Jr. National Hangover which is minor compared to the county fair one I am experiencing now, but we all remember why we put ourselves through it in the end!

Now, onto the blog party!  Here are some of the party favorites from June!

July Country Fair Blog Party

The month of June absolutely flew by at my house!  My boys have not been home a full week the whole month and I am wondering where the first half of summer has gone.  The June Country Fair Blog Party has some great linkups, so I hope you have checked them out!

Here is just a taste of what you missed if you haven't checked it out:

June Country Fair Blog Party

May was a crazy month around here with some family health issues, the end of school, travel to the Alltech conference, lots of livestock shows with the boys and everything else that needs to be done on a farm.  Whew!  I am tired just remembering it all.

The May Country Fair Blog Party had some great posts linked up with lots of great recipes and stories, too.

Here are some of my favorite posts:

May Country Fair Blog Party 2016

Whew!  The month of April flew by!  We have been super busy with corn planting, cow breeding, a mother in law in a critical care unit in Wichita and I don't remember everything else.  The good news is most of the farm work is "caught up"  there is still plenty to do though.  My mother in law is on the mend and starting to cause trouble again.  :)  I found some great new recipes and  to try in the April Country Fair Blog Party.

What have you been up to lately?  I would love to know!  Share you blog posts with our party after you see my favorites for the month.

I can't wait to see what great recipes, projects, farm stories and more are linked up this month.  Don't forget to follow each of my beautiful co-hosts as you link up 1-3 posts this month.
